The company is a modern seed industry enterprise integrating high-quality rice breeding, reproduction and promotion. It has built "Hubei Province School-Enterprise Co-construction Biological Breeding Technology Research and Development Center" and "Hubei Province Rice Biological Breeding Engineering Technology Research Center". It was recognized as a "high-tech enterprise" in 2018, a "key leading enterprise of agricultural industrialization in Hubei Province" in 2022, and an AAA credit enterprise of China Seed Association in 2023. At present, 69 new rice varieties with independent intellectual property rights have been bred, including 21 approved rice varieties in China and 48 approved varieties at the provincial level.
