In view of the possible adverse effects and potential risks of typhoon on rice production, in order to ensure high and stable yield, it is suggested to strengthen the prevention and control measures of field diseases after typhoon.
First, drainage and waterlogging to promote recovery. After the typhoon, the flooded paddy fields should be quickly drained of water in the field to reduce the impact of waterlogging on rice growth. Special attention should be paid to water in late rice seedlings to prevent long-term water accumulation from causing stem and leaf decay and rotten roots, and to improve plant root activity. In case of high temperature, sunny and hot weather after the disaster, it is forbidden to drain the water in the field at one time, and drain the water in different times. The water layer of about 3cm should be reserved in the field to prevent physiological water loss of plants caused by high-intensity foliar evaporation.
Two is the root outside the fertilizer to promote growth.Strengthen the management of water and fertilizer, and topdressing 3-5 days after water withdrawal. For paddy fields with weak growth after the disaster, root application and foliar spraying shall be combined, and appropriate amount of quick-acting nitrogen fertilizer shall be applied, or potassium dihydrogen phosphate plus a small amount of urea shall be evenly sprayed. For double-season late rice from tillering to jointing stage, 3-5kg of urea per mu shall be added to improve plant resistance and accelerate recovery and growth.
Three is to strictly control pests and reduce losses. After the waterlogging of rice, it leads to leaf damage and increases the risk of disease and insect susceptibility. After the typhoon, it is necessary to use drugs in time for comprehensive prevention and control 1-2 times. The first season rice focuses on the prevention and control of rice blast, rice false smut, rice leaf roller, stem borer, rice planthopper and other diseases and insect pests 7-10 days before the break and at the heading stage; double-season late rice strengthens the prevention and control of bacterial leaf blight, rice blast, sheath blight, rice leaf roller and rice planthopper at the jointing stage and booting stage.
